Be the change for a change

The paradox of being anti-Dada is funny. But being anti-dada, as you'll recall is actually being for Dada, which makes being for Dada anti-dada, both of which you are guilty of in a clear measured orderly sort of way!

At the end of the day, it matters as much as your works, and sense of self importance. We share the same value from our place in history.

Which is worth nothing.

Remember Berlin: Dissent is participation. Everyone with thoughts on art, is welcome in Dadaism, provided they can respect that core tenet.

Engagement with a Dadaist makes you a Dadaist!

So welcome.

We have regular meetings where we get together and ramble incoherently. Feel free to attend. There will be pencils!

The politics of permission

But let's not kid ourselves, anti-corporate non-conformity isn't your deal. Not when you spend the time lobbying for new intellectual property rights that don't and can't exist today.

Rights that ONLY and disproportionately benefit massive rights holders like Disney, and make art less accessible for smaller artists than it is now.

You support provenance chains, and DRM solutions that will wipe original creations out of existence at a keystroke, or through an automated inhuman process that only checks keywords.

Oh, I know, it's so fucking punk of you to rage for the machine like that. 🙄

I wouldn't, and don't defend capitalism. AI is the only tool we've ever had, that fulfils the original promise we made with the internet, giving "common men" the means of production, and making the corpos obsolete.

The reason you don't like that idea, is because it's a threat to those bourgeoise breadcrumbs you're constantly begging for.

You see art as a product, not a process, or an experience, and you don't give a shit about meaning. You think artists are made, not born. It's a position that's so entirely full of shit, that it's not worth discussing.

And you can't even be honest about it. Fuck you.

STOP LYING TO ME.

What you're trying and failing to do here is articulate the David Avallone argument (he was the first to say it and he's much smarter than you are), but what David, and you misunderstand is that diffusion models are free, open source tools that were created by individuals and public universities who did nearly all the research.

You are actively an active and engaged participant in a community that makes no qualms about how they're trying to make a moral argument about the ethics of art through violence, intimidation, doxing, name calling, and harassment that frequently involves hate speech (such as racism or transphobia), despite the fact, that since Milkshake, all yall have proven multiple times, that it's within your power to control this behavior.

"What? all those screenshots, that's just individuals!"

Bullshit, I've been in your group chats for a decade, I know what's going on. Stop behaving like Gamergate!

I mean, as long as it's safe. Yall wouldn't do this if you couldn't get literal children to do the dirty shit for you with no consequences.

You are bootlicking bourgeouise slime, every bit of Dadaist disgust has been well earned.

I relish in the destruction of your cherished ideals of what art is, because it needs to happen. Someone needs to stand up and tell you morons to your faces, that you're full of shit.

You are on the side of repression and censorship. All the while, not even being fucking engaged enough to make a coherent argument about the artistic processes involved which you would... if you cared about art or meaning.

If you cared about meaning you wouldn't tell people who are baring their souls with art, that it's not art, if it's made with unsanctioned technology.

HOW DARE YOU?

You have no right to do or say that, and you need to be ashamed. You need to feel terrible about yourself, and that you've taken part in this horseshit.

Be the fucking change for a change.
