Dada isn't an aesthetic. It's disobedience, the abandonment of morality, and fighting the good fight against snobs, moralists, and the rich. Dada is saying fuck you when someone wants to tell you how the world works. And responding to violence and intimidation with the absurd. It is a protest.
I would even argue that the Dadaist conception of aesthetics as used in the 1920s is long obsolete. The point wasn't to make collages. It was to make subversive art. Now, the aesthetics of historic Dada have been appropriated by the art world. So they too must be subverted.
Dada is anarchy
Anything goes
It is nothing
It is everything
Dada is the anger of the righteous at a world that is deeply unjust
