Windsurf blew up on me this morning—auth gone, connection busted, no warning, no fix. So much for getting anything real done today.
I hadn’t planned on testing Void Editor yet, but figured this was as good a moment as any. Plugged it into DeepSeek to see how they’d play together.
I won't use untested AI tools on work projects, so instead of making progress on the actual task, I ended up deep in toolchain experiments—which turned into building an LSP implementation for agent-based code generators. I needed one anyway. Figured I might as well use the time.
The LSP app is mostly written in Go, and it’s kind of done, sort of. Might still need a few edges filed down, but it’s functional—and surprisingly clean. If things stay on track, I’ll release it this weekend as a drop-in utility with a CLI and integration support.
This one grew out of necessity. I’m working on Weave, a DSL for scriptable agent behavior using Lua and YAML. The original plan was research agents. But then someone decided they wanted autonomous coding across languages. That meant building real dev tools for task runners—ones that actually understand language servers, not just fake it.
So that’s what I did. Sometimes when the day breaks, you build a bridge with the pieces.
More soon.
