The LLM amnesia problem is taking me a few days to solve, now that I know how I'm going to do it.
1. The actual process of it is complicated
2. The UI is cool as hell, based in React. More practical than slick, but a little slick.
This time around, I'm building the system on top of a plugin architecture.
The entire app is made with small light weight, self contained plugins. You can swap one out, change, or update any component this way, without affecting how the thing actually works.
And it's elegant for a Node.js application.
This code is simple, pretty, and easy to follow.
There's just a lot of it.
In fact, it's the prettiest AI generated code I think I've ever seen.
Even the react components are gorgeous. And that's interesting, because, well, React is never pretty.
Soon as I get the UI running, I'm going to finish implementing the validations, and the interruptible command chains in a few of the components.
What's exciting about all of this, is that I'm not doing anything to change the models I'm working with themselves. It works with half a dozen off the shelf models.
It's good ol' fashioned software engineering.
Just faster than usual.
