Something that keeps coming up that I want to talk about: I do not care if your politics are different than mine. I don't.
I'm an actual honest to god morally consistent anarchist with some views on property and monolithic hierarchies that people influenced by the larger neoliberal system of command and control find offensive.
I was raised on the sex pistols, DK, black flag, and rage against the machine. I unironically appreciate hipster culture, even the postmodern variety.
I use my pronouns openly, and I am unashamed. I've fucking memorized Howl and Kadesh. I practice Dadaist philosophy and progressive nihilism. If we were taking politicians, and putting them in guillotines -- with very few exceptions, I would cheer for it!
Iconoclastic contrarianism and anti-fascist action is and has been my entire deal as long as I can remember.
But I accept that I'm unusual in the larger culture.
As long as your politics don't preclude my basic human rights or dignity as a human being and a trans woman, we're good.
If your concern is tax rates or guns, or anything that's actually political without advocating for genocide, I do not care.
Just don't expect me to engage with the politics of the american political binary unless you're telling me that it needs to be torn down.
That's it.
That's how I feel.
