Randomness that looks intentional

One thing I learned this month about Dadaism. Art historians have this idea that Dadaists are liars. And we are. It's often less about the art than the story OF the art.

One of the examples they bring up is pieces where elements just fall on a page and end up doing unexpected things that look planned. Perfect symmetry, faces and figures that look just right.

It's too perfect to be random, right? That's what you would think, intuitively. But, you would be very very wrong.

Randomness, the art of Nothing, has this way of spontaneously creating a kind of order that looks planned. It looks well orchestrated and intentional.

But it isn't, and that's what's so exciting about it.

You never really know though, until you experience it.

It's not going to make sense, until you watch it unfold in front of you.

I still can't explain it without magical thinking, which would be folly. The implications of Nothing should be good enough.

Maybe some things just... don't need explaining?
