So I've been thinking about my non-ai art process, and the chaos of it. The chaos is there intentionally, because I'm practicing Dadaism, and it's fun. But there's this thing that I can't quite explain that's happening, and I'm not sure why.
I've figured out that if you throw enough random things into a piece of art, and throw them together so you can see all or most of them at the same time... order just happens.
You see it especially when you're doing video collages.
I can show you examples of things that have happened in my music videos, where perfect cues line up, or elements from the song just happen to be in the video at exactly the right moment. Cuts and scene transitions being exactly in the right place all the way through.
I'll make speed and video cuts randomly, intentionally not paying attention to what I'm doing or where. I've even done it with my eyes closed.
And yet... it works, and it's repeatable.
And it's kind of magical. It just is.
And I don't know what to make of that.
